VF-25 There appears to still be separation between the cheek and jaw. Also, most of the wheat lines are visable.

The D issues of this era are well known for over-used dies and incorrect die spacing. Sometimes this can be perceived as wear.

VF-20 if there is actual space between cheek and jaw. Cant tell for sure but the color contrast makes me think so and the ear is still fairly well formed. Not much wear on the reverse highs.
