Is This 1862 Half Penny Valuable At All?

The coin is in better-than-average condition, with "honest wear" and minimal corrosion; it would probably be worth a couple of pounds - if it were not for that nasty damage to the rim at the top. I think that damage makes this coin drop in value from "a few pounds" to "a few pence".

Such a shame.

I agree on the above - the only extra thought is I believe this is the "missing rocks" sub variety. There should be a clump of rocks to the left of the lighthouse, which appears to be absent. This sub variety has only recently been recognised, but does not seem unduly rare - maybe 1 in 10 of the 1862 7+G halfpennies show it.
