I know nothing about coins. A couple of years ago, I bought a metal detector thinking I would find some pioneer era artifacts in the backyard of my rural Michigan home. I found a mangled metal dog bowl that I ran over with my lawnmower the previous summer and some rusty nails. A day or two later, I was looking out my front window when a mole popped up from under my lawn. In the little pile of dirt around his hole, there was a coin. It is an Indian Head penny dated 1898. I'm wondering if this is worth anything. Any input would be appreciated.
