All,

Looking for help on this one please. The obverse appears "better" than the reverse to me. (This amateur estimates the obv to be a F12 and the rev to be a VG8) If I am close, how do you resolve this type of difference?

Thanks!

Bill

No where near F-12. I'm at G-4. The worst of the Obv. or Rev. would be my overall grade.

I'll say G-04 but details - old cuts on face and headdress.

Struck thru? Wear? Weak die strike? I guess it doesn't make much difference at this point.

G details but it is a pointed bust variety, which is the scarcer of the available varieties.
