#10 Similar to #5 .Four staples at the 2x2 corners parallel to the central window edge.

I do #3. I use four staples from my office stapler and press the staples down with needle nose pliers. I'd have to use four staples because the lack of symmetry on the 2x2 would drive me crazy....the inner architect in me.
