This one came up at auction last week on eBay. I've been looking to upgrade this die 1 and figured this would be a good chance since ANACS slabs just don't bring the dollars that PCGS does.

Well obviously I won it, and at a surprisingly low $203. I'll cross it over to PCGS and have this die topped off.

Very nice pickup! I was wondering if it was you who took this one home. I was watching the auction once it got out of my price range. Been trying to cherry one of these for a while now and I can say firsthand that they are certainly no easy find in mint state. So stellar pickup and Congrats!

Very nice pickup! Awesome high grade example and already in a slab. Always great to see the upgrades you get TB.

Great buy, especially at that price. Though the grade is... optimistic to say the least

Great variety (love that northerly doubling on LIBERTY)in MS but I agree with Grapes about the grade. I was thinking MS65, max, mainly because of the area of the obverse field near the rim at K2-K3 and the gash on the cheek.
(I've seen the nicks/bumps on the shoulder attributed to die issues before.)
