I hate when this happens , I seen that very coin just recently doing research on one id got.Im sorry I cant name it off hand but I did see it.Ill backtrack my research but by then I'm sure somebody will identify it. echizento Moderator United States 23731 Posts	Posted 12/11/2008 2:26 pm It looks like Claudius II (Gothicus) 268-270 AD, Unable to see any of the inscriptions, but the reverse looks like Laetitia standing holding wreath and cornucopia. Faily common coin, could use some cleaning (soak in olive oil for several weeks), this might bring out some more of the detail. Report this Post to the Staff

It's definitely Claudius II (I can read "CLAV" on the obverse), but the Reverse seems to me more like FORTUNA REDVX (the only reverse letter you can see is the final "X"), similar to this one.
