Known today as the Isabella Quarter, this piece has the denomination appearing as COLUMBIAN QUAR. DOL. Much like the fair itself, this piece shines brightly with its brilliant mint luster, extraordinary design definition, and alternating bands of toning that range from deep blue to russet, turquoise, and gold. Census: 9 in 68 (1 in 68+), 1 finer (10/13).

Notice how the blue toning is absolutely amazing around Isabella's neck by the buttons/necklace on @GrapeCollects coin!

What a beautiful example that is! I love how many colors there are but that the toning is still gentle enough that the entire design remains visible. It's almost like someone broke out their watercolors to add a little gentle color
