Djibouti: French Protectorate. Counterstamp on India Rupee 1835, KM2.1, LeCompte-10 and Mitchner-1489, scalloped incuse square countermark with Arabic legends reading "Abdul Latif, silversmith in Djibouti." Quite attractive with a deeply applied counterstamp on a VF-XF British Rupee of William IIII dated 1835. Very scarce type and host coin.
