This one has me a little bit confuzzled.
It feels and sounds right but the wear on the obverse compared to the reverse raises an eyebrow (or two).

I don't have any others of his, so that might be why I didn't recognise it.
Time to head down the rabbit hole. Thanks :)

Excellent, thanks.
Just need to figure out which one and a rough value now.
The person I got it from didn't have a clue what it was and only charged 1 so I want to pay them a fairer price.

It's the type of common late Roman Gallic AE that you might fish out of a "bargain" bin for what you paid
Or you might find it listed elsewhere as Extremely Rare Roman Coin !
Marked down to $50 today only !
Act now !
You didn't cheat your friend ....
nor he cheat you
If this is your first ancient you will always remember and cherish it
But beware !
Once the ancient virus reaches your cerebellum
You may develop an appetite
IN GOD WE TRVST ....... all others pay cash !

COGITO ERGO SPVD
I think ...... therefore I yam
