If this used to be a groat it's been clipped to death. Only thing I can tell is that it's from Canterbury mint.

What is the diameter and weight? If real, it has undoubtedly been heavily clipped as there should be another ring. This is a Canterbury half groat https://www.baldwin.co.uk/product/h...i-halfgroat/
