I picked this Indian Head penny that is suspiciously bright, has this been plated?

I do not think so. Looks like an old cleaning that has partially re-toned.

I think it is a old cleaning to but could you post a picture of the edge.

I agree, now has re toned to a rather nice golden color.
(No extra value for color).
