How can you tell if this is a Proof or Business Strike? These are the sellers pics and is stating that it is a proof, sorry if they are not good.

You can tell by the strong strike, square rims, and the sharpness in detail. Even though the photos are poor, this doesn't appear to be a proof. I don't see the quality, and too much "business strike" luster.

Although the pictures are not good, there is a likelihood that this coin is counterfeit. A seller describing it as a proof further increases the odds of it not even being a genuine Morgan silver dollar. Stay away.
