Greatcollections Are They Really That Great Anymore?

An interesting question that's been on my mind lately. Am sharing this as I think its worth mentioning to other small buyers and sellers along with the fat slice of crow pie I had to enjoy with it.
I've been buying from GreatCollections for roughly 6 years...probably 170 + coins and along with buying have consigned and sold probably 100 coins. Never had any issues matter of fact made some great buys and surprising sells. It seemed to me at the time that GreatCollections just wasn't sending my money fast enough you know its my money and I want it now frame of mind.
I decided to do something about it and called customer service and stated bluntly to a very nice young lady "I'm paying for my coins when you pay me!" I was put on hold and my worst fears were realized when Raeleen the CO - CEO of GC came on the line..."whats the problem?" she asked.
Well I said a little more timidly "where's my money?" she explained how things work when the check was sent out etc etc. by then I was embarrassed enough to calm down and say thank you and goodbye.

End of discussion - until 3 days later I saw "the one I had to have" on GC'S site however being a little light in the wallet I needed permission for layaway on this one so I e-mailed GC asking for permission to go big on a big coin.
In 1 hour I received an e-mail from Ian and another from Raeleen telling me yes "your pre-approved".
Now thats classy and thats the type of outfit I like dealing with in spite of myself and all my excitable ways. Never a lost coin never an issue with bidding and never a no pay on consignments, yet that wasn't good enough at the time. Ian, Raeleen, your both nerves of steel and still my go to team. Thanks for looking after bottom feeders like me and treating me like a high roller.
I think GreatCollections is pretty great. The slice of crow pie wasn't that great though.
