Please help identifying this 1992 penny. Any opinions would be appreciated! Included in my photo is a 1992 d penny for a comparison. Best Regards!

If the one on the bottom (rotate your photos please) is a 1992, then yes. Please post pics of the obverse. The one on top is a usual Wide AM.

I'm new to the forum and didn't intend to make a duplicate post..I was ankef to post pics of the from of the coins..The one reply was that the comparison coin was the Wide AM variety and the 1992 no mint mark was in the opinion that it was the Close AM..I was hoping for addition comments after I posted the front of the coins. My apologies! Best Regards!

The 1992 d has a obvious gap between the a and the m..the 1992 does not appear to have that gap..But I am not a professional nor am I qualified to be a judge..Just a fruit inspector! Regards!

Looks like a Wide AM to me although these are not great images of the reverse, not the valuable Close AM unfortunately. Look at the actual letters A and M which should be very close together on the bottom for the Close AM as in these images. If that is not clear, you can also look at the letters FG on the reverse as well. Frank Gasparo designed the reverse side of the Lincoln cent from 1959-2008. So his letters "FG" appear on the rear of the coin near the right side of the columns.

The Wide AM FG has a serif on the G. It is the extra metal that points back and is also closer to the base of the monument:

Please post clearer images. I just can't see the AM or FG well enough to be sure on the 1992 P to tell.

Here's a Photoshop image of what to look for on the 1992-D. These features tell if it's a Close AM coin.
