its roman of some kind. I'm not great at these but some additional info will probably be helpful to the people who know these better. how big is it in diameter? what does it weigh?
while I cant speak to this specific piece a generic roman coin is pretty common. rome made a lot of coins and did so for a really long time. I have a bunch of the small copper coins (they are usually called "as") that I like to give to new coin collectors I meet. they retail for a couple bucks in low grade.

I collect low grade large cents. I currently have >230 Sheldon varieties and >235 middle date Newcomb varieties.
