I know this will be kind of pointless with out pictures but this is where the problem lies. I made my first blind purchase from what I was going to buy.
6 old half dollars, old silver dollar, a few indians and a bunch of Wheat Pennies. Ok, I am going through what I feel is the oldest roll of Cents in the bunch. so I start looking through them and I find 3 that make me dance,

a 1927 that explains a Woody to me( Woodgrain Cent) Quit Smiling, On the reverse only. I am asking how this happens. The Finish on the penny of course. (Quit Laughing)

#2 a Lamination error on a 1913, is this due to some type of die Crack? and #3 a 1939 or 1939 D (Chocolate brown, thats the color I call it). Anywhooooo. the penny looks like a 1938 with a 1939 stamped over it or part of the 8 got filled in on the die. How common is this?
