Hi again,

I have what I strongly suspect is Suri 1 Paisa however I cannot decipher a date. I can see the 9 in first spot which fits with the Suri date but cannot decipher the second (and third) number. Have been tricked up before with number characters so am hoping one of the CC gurus can help.

Many thanks

PS I'll tear my hair out if it;'s not a Suri Paisa.

The second digit looks like a 6 to me. The third might possibly be another 6, written somewhat differently, but isn't clear because much of it is off the flan. If you'll post the weight and diameter (and a photo of the other side) we can search Zeno for a match to your coin.

I don't know these, but agree it seems like 966 and 969 are most likely options.

969 is known: https://www.acsearch.info/search.html?id=9136839
I also found 962 on acsearch, but don't think this is an option.

Did not find a 966 (but agree there are better places than acsearch to be looking).
