SilverSal New Member United States 8 Posts	Posted 03/28/2009 9:42 pm Hi again, I was going through some S/D my Dad left me with my Junk Silver (that term makes NO sense to me) dealer and told me that my 1928 Peace dollar was worth about 35.00. I have attached 2 images of this coin. Is there something special about this coin? Its got some spots on the back as you can see, but I can't believe its worth 35.00! Is he accurate? SsuperDdave Moderator United States 23522 Posts	Posted 03/28/2009 10:26 pm Rarity plays a large part on the value of a coin. The 1928 Peace dollar is by far the rarest, with only 360,000 minted. I suspect $35 is a little on the low side. "Junk Silver" is a term used to describe silver coins whose wear/damage leave them worth no more than melt value. Report this Post to the Staff
