which years are the "desirable" Wide AM cents. what (if any) premium do they warrant. I have yet to find one, but just in case I do find them, I am curious. thanks.

The 1998, 1999, 2000. The 1999 are the rarest. Here's two sites that describes the attributes and a price guide - look under Design Varieties.

*Any* business strike 1993 or after would be desirable. A 1996 Wide AM is much rarer than 1999. You should check every year; maybe you'll be the first to discover one for a certain year.
