I obtained these bills in Virgina in 1969 at a coin show when I was 5. Do not remember what I paid.

These are called Fractional Notes Issued between 1862 to 1876.

#1 3 cents CH#1639 FR#1226 light portrait background, I'd grade this at VF Value @$40.
#2 10 cents CH#1648 FR31254, signatures looks to be Jeffreis and Spinner. I'd grade this F with a Value @$90.
#3 10 cents, fifth issue Ch# 1728 Fr# 1266,which is the short key in the seal. I'd grade this as G, valued at a few dollars.

I'm glad I didn't get the dumb idea to buy it here. They never sell them below $25, and yeah, in even worse grade.

Thank you for the help. I have been told so many things about these cent script that my head was spinning. Most every one I have talked to says they are not worth a penny. But on the Internet I have found them selling for sometimes $150.

Those are very nice, I happened to buy a 50cent fractional currency note today, it's got a tear (to say the least) but I only paid $3.00 american for it. The guy laughed when I told him I'd take it because "they ain't makin them anymore". Mine is a 1874/1875 Crawford F1381 (whatever that means)

yep. If'n I can get my wife to take a pic of mine, I'll post it. I'm almost afraid to take it out of the vinyl sleeve cause I don't want to tear it any further and I'm afraid the vinyl will reflect too much.

I am so sorry for the hijack. Honestly.
Rest in Peace
