Im not a collector or know anything about this, but I have a $5 and and $20 with a blue seal and blue serial numbers. I was wanting to know if this is rare? Since I have never seen it before. The $5 has the date of 2003 and the $20 has the date of 2001. Thanks

YES! A blue seal + blue serial number is a silver certificate, which means before 24 June 1968, you could have traded them in for 5 or 20 Morgans or Peace dollars!

But wait... 2003 and 2001 series? These are supposed to be Federal Reserve note green..

I'm confused. Can you post a pic?

And to the forums!

... it could be they've been recolored, since I don't think there are any more blue serial number ink left at the Bureau of Engraving and Printing... Still, it'll be interesting to see!
