Hi I'm new to this and wanted to know if anyone had any input on this dime I found , it seems different from other dimes as it is twice as thick as a normal dime and the back of the dime seems to be more of dull shade?

Reeded edge looks to be flattened down some, may have spent some time as a Dryer Coin.
That would also explain the increased thickness of the coin.

It appears normal, a weight would be nice here, also a picture of this dime and another dime held together so we can get an idea of hot thick it is. (an edge on image with the dimes held together)

If it's unusually heavy, it might have been struck on quarter stock (or half dollar stock). If it weighs the typical weight, then it might be an early stage Dryer Coin, as people have already suggested.
