Chat GPT informed me that my 1982 D penny weighing 3.1 with large date is a transitional error. Is that true?

To CCF, Dbdave! Unfortunately, ChatGPT is 100% incorrect. Don't trust it. It's false. It's the 1982 Denver Small Date copper cent that's the transitional error. Your coin is normal and it's only worth face value. https://www.numismaticnews.net/worl...t-discovered
