DBM Pillar of the Community Canada 9862 Posts	Posted 12/24/2025 2:51 pm The matte finish is due to environmental toning, your coin is cupro-nickel, 75% copper, unlike pure nickel or nickel plated coins it is not very resistant to environmental conditions.
