I took pics of the coin and tossed it back in the pile (about 1K coins) ughh!
is it work going back to find it?
I didn't see the Stage A version of it when I was looking.
I am guessing it is in the rage of a 50 grade, but I am just learning...

from here, I am looking at the reverse, 2 die breaks on either side of the Lincoln memorial.

Sorry if the pics aren't properly lit, just took them because I thought it looked cool.

with coin rejector. Not seeing the doubling on the B in liberty, the moto, or the date. Maybe some close up pics of these areas could help.

The corners of the memorial are the most common place for die cracks. Same on Jefferson nickels. It's a deep cavity adjacent to the die edge, which creates a major stress point.

Counter-question: what's the point of looking through 1000 coins, searching for a needle in a haystack, only to give up on a needle that you believe might be there? I've done this myself a few times, accidentally tossing a minor DDR into the roll bucket. It isn't that hard to go back and find the coin again. Just look for the date.

okay, finally found it and you are correct, no doubling on the coin, just the die breaks at the corners.

and the very next roll, I found this one...
not a DDR, but nice die cracks...
