XF-45 to AU-50, light cleaning. Still a very nice coin.

EF-40 was my first impression. A touch too much wear on the eagle's neck and not enough definition in the clasp on the obverse to justify a higher EF grade. Looks beautiful though! Possibly cleaned?

It's selling for $269... seller is claiming AU+. So with a light cleaning, and possibly XF, it seems like it might be priced a tad high. Thanks for the input! I wasnt sure exactly what to make of it as it seems the picture was touched up a bit in a program like GIMP.

I would pass on that price, but it is a beautiful coin.

I would grade it at EF-40, it does appear to have been cleaned at some point. I'm not sure of the variety, zeewool has a better handle on CBH's after 1836.
