Hi this is my first post. I just purchased a 1934S Peace dollar at a coin shop. I paid a little less than $50 including sales tax. Overall it is in good shape though it is worn down on the reverse quite a bit. The mint mark is clearly visible. I could scan it so you all could see. Do you think this seems like I got a good deal? I know it is not a steal but I was hoping that maybe I came out ahead. Thanks for reading.

Welcome aboard!

The answer to a value question depends on a couple of things ... the date and mintmark (the 34-S is a bit rarer than others) and condition. From your description it could fall anywhere between Poor and Very Good. $50 seems about right, especially if you're happy with it.
