Here's another mystery coin from my collection. I believe it's from Norway, Sweden, or Denmark. I have searched exhaustively, but can't find anything like it. It appears to be made of brass and says 5 Ore on one side, and the other side has something in cursive writing which I can't read. It measures 1" x 1" and is unlike any other Norwegian, Danish, or Swedish coins I've had. I'm unsure of the age. I'm guessing it may be some kind of token, but I would love to hear some of your guesses.

You can eliminate Denmark and Norway. They spell it ๘re, not ๖re. This leaves Sweden.

I don't know what that is - but if you turn the cursive side 180 degrees it looks like it reads SALES.

Definitely a token of some sort, rather than an official coin - hardly anyone made octagonal coins, and the few that are around aren't as assymetrical as this one is.
