A 1913 broad leaf dime - item # 110700010510, seems cheap right now. I have a nice one and this one is a lot better shape than anything I have seen in a while. What grade do you give it - XF? They have over graded it in my opinion.

Beautiful coin and very scarce in that grade point. I concurr with your guestimate and it an EF-40. Tiny rim nick on the 3:00 0'clock that would not be mentioned by I.C.C.S. since it does not detract from the coin's appearance. If you can nail it for under $1k you'll do well. It would be in the Top 20 best known according to the I.C.C.S. 2010 Population Report! Good Luck! Glenn

I would if I could - I have 3 already - a VF20 graded by ICCS. And two others that are vg and f. But I just can't afford it, can't justify spending the money. Yes, I agree this would be a great coin for under $1000 - I am thinking that a bid of around $650 might just get it.

How ironic that Canadian coin collectors can't even by their own currency from another country? Glenn

Wow. It seems to me that better photos and Canadian shipping would help this coin along...

Yes the thing is if you have an Canadian address you can't bid on it either it just blocks your bid the same as trying to contact the seller it blocks your message and tells you to read the description.

It's idiotic moves like this that cost someone 100's of dollars. I would have bought that piece for someone, as it stands I couldn't be bothered.

I don't understand it either unless someone has been burned shipping something up North. You know in the States we can add tracking, signature needed all sorts of things to insure that it gets there safely but not once it crosses the border.

Hammered price - $898 plus $5 shipping - if you notice is does have a slight ding at 9:00 on the reverse. But all in all, a tough coin to find in this grade

I've shipped from both sides of the border, signatures and tracking/insurance all work to the point where you can even use each post office's tracking numbers on the others site... that's right, canada post tracking works on USPS.COM and US Post tracking numbers work on Canadapost.ca ... imagine that :) . True there are less international services than domestic services but the service is still there for high value items.
Congrats Danlos it's a nice piece and you didn't have to fend off my bids ;)
