Hi everyone I have 70 proof sets that are dated 1964 and 1965 They are enclosed in a sealed plastic sheet What I was wondering is are they worth anything more then the silver value
The coin to look for is the '64 Kennedy proof half with the accented hair, it's worth more than the regular proof. The '65 sets aren't proofs, they are "Special Mint Sets" aka SMS.
They're worth about $40 each on average. Some of the 1965 coins have varieties (small beads, large beads, blunt 5, pointed 5, etc..) that might increase the value..
