I don't think it is a coin, but a token. Could be Burmese or Indian

Agreed, it's not a coin. What it is I'm not really sure; it's clearly Buddhist in origin, but I don't think Buddhists have as strong a tradition of issuing "temple tokens" as the Hindus and Muslims of India and Southeast Asia do.

The building kind of resembles Ankor Wat or one of the other temples in that part of the world
