Hey guys, today whilst noodling I found this coin, it is blank where there is meant to be detail such as the platypus' mouth and eyes, queens crown. Is this an error or coin damage, I am quite new to collecting so I'm not sure.

Not an error, looks like it has spent a few years in the bottom of tub in a top loader washing machine hidden under the agitator
I have seen many examples of decimal coins with this premature wear rate
Thanks aarong for the image and post
