GS has been telling us that everything is just fine. Meanwhile, it sent a confidential (oops) report to its big institutional investors telling them to bet against the euro and Yurrupeen corporate debt.

I always become a little suspicious when a "secret document" that tells you how to make money on the coming crash suddenly SURFACES. Looks like Goldman is setting everyone up for a fleecing. Follow their advice, they control the situation and make it go down opposite to what their report predicts, they had a different plan, small investor fleeced, big bank gets a windfall. I don't trust any report from anybody these days. I trust my gut and try to follow the money, the BIG money.

I'm with Hock on this one. I would not trust GS or any other BIG bank as far as I could throw their main office building. IMO, they are manipulators in the extreme and you can safely bet your last dime that they are out to fleece anyone who comes within their reach.
