Hi Folks
Received this Buffalo nickel in change a few days ago. My question is on the reverse of the coin near the word states. Is this PMD or what they call a defective planchet. The reason I ask is that you can see the e in states pushed down. The first t in states was pushed over. Just curious. If posted in the wrong forum sorry was unsure where to post the question. Thanks for any info.

I would say PMD. If it was a defective blanched, things wouldn't be pushed around.
