Thanks for having this site!

My Dad has this coin that looks to be dated 1821. Does anyone recognize it? Is it a US coin? What denomination? I know it's really worn and hard to tell but I'm hoping one of you recognizes it. Also, any idea what it is made of?

Nice. I was thinking it looked like Bonaparte....but dating was wrong for a French continental coin.....nice call on the colonies.

Yes! It is a French Colonies! Once you pointed me in that direction, I found one on ebay that was just like it. They say it is made of bronze.
