Long story short one bank branch pointed me to another branch out of town, and they said they had a bunch of nickel dollars and halfs, so I took a drive, when I arrived this is what I found waiting for me..over 650$ of face value coins. no silver but almost 90% of the coins are uncirculated. Apparently someone was cleaning out the house , sold the silver and just turned this into the bank. I was wondering how someone got so many uncirculated coins, unless they got them back in the day right from the bank..Thoughts. if this should be in the coin roll searching forum, could you please move it, and my apologies..
The reason you found them in this condition, is that almost all of the nickel dollars and halves never circulated in the first place... you still find them in dealers junk pails, in uncirculated condition...
