hello everyone...I am a newby and this is my first post... I found a 1854 one cent coin and it has 10 sides... I have looked every where (I(think) but it seems as though this coin does not exist... am I missing something? I appreciate all help...thank you... Is it bogus? I have tried to upload photos but must be doing something wrong but can do so on regular email or if someone tells me how on this page...

Most likely worked over by someone trying to make a necklace or something else. Here is an octagon shape on ebay recently:
