1945-Wheatie-Error

Found this clipped planchet error in a roll. Not the most significant example of said error but it only cost me 1 cent. (In the same roll I also found a "1914-D" except it was just an altered 1944-D.)
Rest in Peace

Face value is always a good deal. I can even see the blakesley effect opposite of the clip. This is what I look for to help me tell if it is a real clip or just someone playing with a punch press. Not all authenic clips have it but most do. Nice find.

I never knew about the "blakesley effect." After you mentioned it I looked it up. I love learning new things.

Thanks Pyrbob!
