Hello,
I'm new here. I have a container of old coins from the 1700's and up and managed to identify all (maybe worth a few hundred at most, but cool).
This one has me stumped though. Any thoughts?

Indian states perhaps, writing looks central Asian.?

Hello and welcome.

Unfortunately, it isn't actually a coin. It's a very, very corroded jewellery imitation with a design very loosely based on Ottoman gold coins.

Here's a similar item with the star that still looks gold-like.
