Squishing my way through some more thawing fields recently to find another old site; not much to find but did manage to collect a couple of tokens.
It's tough to get any that are in good shape and these are typical of what happens to copper coins in our soil. Keep in mind that these areas have been in agricultural use for the past two centuries with the addition of chemical and natural fertilizer on top of it all. The results speak for themselves, toasty tokens from the east coast.
A pair of PEI tokens a Breton 918 and 995...both have seen better days. Hopefully my next outing will be a better day too lol
