This is going to be kind of a rant but to be on honest this is the kind of thing that I was worried about when the laws changed. I got a 1099K from ebay today for last years taxes and the problem with this is that they were not supposed to send me 1099K for last years' taxes. The new threshold for a 1099K in regards to the new laws did not go into effect until January first of this year. This doesn't matter to me from a financial standpoint since I was planning on declaring this income anyway but the problem that I have with all of this is that ebay is flying fast and loose with my personal financial data and then acts like it's not a big deal. Anyone else get a 1099K from ebay when they weren't supposed too?
