My Dad's old tools are made much better than the new ones. Even with the grease and grime.

That was my thought too. I've seen it on occasion with coins I've been interested in purchasing. Once it goes above my predetermined max, I ALWAYS drop out.

Hard to comment when there is the "availability" of other coins, but I see this so often on other auctions, that nothing surprised me anymore. Example: watched people paying $30 for a common bullion coin, add the buyers premium and the winners were paying substantially more than one could buy a similar coin on many retail sites !
