Not sure how to tell the difference between pl and dmpl any info appreciated. One of my coins in question below. I have done the pencil reflection test at both 3 and 6 inches away and pencil is still in reflection.

Proof Like is a degree of reflectivity in the fields. It has nothing to do with frosted devices although they do seem to go hand in hand. PL coins have some sort of reflective fields usually up to 3-4 inches. DMPL coins have deep reflective fields and mirror like surfaces that can reflect over usually above 4 inches and above.........That's all I got,

Thanks Marve! So basically it's just based on how reflective the field really are, or at least that's what I'm gathering.
