Apparently gold continues to be the #1 U.S. export this year, with most of it going to China. The Chinese are using the same playbook that we used on them to collapse their economy during the Opium Wars.
The U.S. and Europe were the leading industrial powers in the World in the 1800s. Seems like China is the dominant industrial power in the World today and is challenging our advantage in high tech. If you look at our leading AI tech engineers, they are mostly Chinese. If China comes to dominate industrial and high tech production, can we hold on to our wealth?

AI data centers that the U.S. is investing $800 billion in this year, the largest infrastructure build out in the history of the world, work on electricity. No electricity, no AI. As you can see, China produces more electricity than the next 4 nations combined including the U.S.
