Has anyone reported yet the existence of Counterfeit 2026 Declaration of Independence quarters with the 4th of July privy?
There are some questionable ebay auctions that I'm seeing. The sellers have little or no ebay feedback, their cities/location are not identified, and the coins in the auctions have an unnatural look about them. They shine, but don't have a "cartwheel" appearance.
Maybe it's just me, but the situation appears questionable. Here's a photo of what is being sold. Thoughts?
The coin pictured here looks pretty normal and ligit considering the amount of lighting hitting it while it was photographed. And there has not been any reports of counterfeiting However, the intense public focus on the limited-edition release of these coins has generated plenty of confusion and online rumors.
