This one appears cast, does it sticks to a magnet?

That's unfortunate. I'll have to see if I have a magnet around. What makers you think it's cast?

Thank god. I tried it with a magnet and it did not stick.

Its porous surface and strike lacks authenticity compared to other genuine 1882, especially the date.

This does sadly look counterfeit perhaps, seems off.

I tried it with a strong refrigerator magnet. Would that not be enough to tell? I could feel the attraction to the metal on my Yeti, but nothing when I touched it to the coin.
Is there another test I can do?

For the grade, I'll say VF. I'm not going to comment on authenticity as I am not too familiar with this series.
Errers and Varietys.

The reeds look like crossties on a railroad track.
Inordinately fascinated by bits of metal with strange markings and figures

This is what I got from Google.
Early issues (1838-1853) weigh 6.68 grams (103.125 grains), while later issues (1853-1891) weigh 6.22 grams

0.2 oz is under 6 grams, need a better scale that provide weights of 0.00 grams, they are fairly cheap on Amazon. If you can do a ping test using another 90% silver quarter, and compare the one you got. Take it to a LCS and see if they can test it, or have one that you can compare yours to. 1882 Seated Liberty quarter is a few hundreds in FMV for VF grades, so you want to be sure. HondoB makes a good point about the reeds, these look off also.
