I think it's just a very strong impression of reeding on the obverse, but I'd like some second opinions. I would think it would take a lot of pressure to make this strong impression, but don't have a clue where that would come from. The edge reeding appears normal. There's a couple of slight impressions on the rim of both obverse and reverse. I'm 92% sure it's just PMD, but thought this would be the right forum. . "I like money. This can happen if this coin was at the bottom of the collection bag when the other coin landed on it - then as the bag filled up the pressure dented your coin with the reeds Collecting since 1972.
