10 Francs 1985 commemorating writer Victor Hugo, best known now for 'Les Miserables'! Hugo apparently was responsible for starting the shortest known correspondence on record! After 'Les Miserables' was published, he sent a letter to his publisher to ask how sales were going. His letter was a single sheet of paper with a question mark on it. He got back a reply consisting of a single sheet of paper with an exclamation mark!
