I'm glad someone posted pics, they look great in my opinion. I'm on the fence buying them, so much money, Maybe if gold drops a few hundred and they are still available I'll get them.

I was able to buy the 1803 Silver Dollar (Drapped Bust) and today I cancelled my order. I rather use that money to buy the Saint Gaudens... even though I was planning in getting both.
I will be monitoring the sales of this one closely... if by the end of the year they remain under 10,000 sold I might snatch one... if on the other hand they get above 20,000 sold I might buy it few years later when hype died at hopefully lower premium...
with the liberty (26BM3) only selling close to 10,000 out of 30K, it is obvious the demand for the entire set is just that...

Would the Saint Gaudens be an Ultra Relief also? or just High Relief? Is there a difference in finishing between both?

@MrBean well it shouldn't get to 20,000 sold. The stated mintage limit is 15,000.

All right! My credit card has been charged and my order has been shipped, with the expected delivery time being sometime before 12 noon on Monday.

The BOM 5 St. Gaudens that I saw at the Philly mint has the same finish as the other BOM coins. It is slightly different than the 2009 version. UHR or HR, I am not sure. It was attractive. They don't allow pictures in the mint or I would have gotten one.

Where did the remaining 3K+ go that were available at the mint? Another Flowing Hair issue where the actual mintage is less than the announced? Maybe hijinks so BOM5 sells out? BOM 4 1804 gold dollar set in OGP sold on ebay for $6,647.95, $6,699 and $6,650. NGC graded silver medal SP-70 are selling (not listed) for $1700!

I looked late last night and saw a number in that range. The mint did release the household limit.
